    3. Looking for some help. The bottom line is that there is a lost Maxwell family bible going back to the 1740s. Walter Carson Maxwell b. 1817 Harrison County Ohio inherited the family bible from his uncle Walter Maxwell. His youngest child was Walter Sherman Maxwell b. 1865 who married Ella. In the 1910 Census, they are shown in Osborn, Greene County Ohio living with David Baer. They have a son Robert R. Maxwell and a daughter Martha Jean Maxwell. It appears that Martha Jean Maxwell did have the bible at one time. Neither she nor her brother apparently married. Robert R. d. 1964 and Martha Jean in 1989 (both living in Indiana) and were both buried at Fairborn Cemetery, Greene County Ohio. Walter Sherman Maxwell most probably had relatives in Greene County Ohio and the children (Robert and Martha Jean) were obviously raised there. We know that when Martha Jean went into a nursing home in Indiana, she did not have the Bible. My thoughts are that she may have given it to a relative in Greene County Ohio. I also assume that Walter Sherman Maxwell and his wife Ella are buried somewhere in Greene County Ohio. If anyone has information or leads to follow, I would greatly appreciate your help. It seems to me that there is a Byer/Baer m. maxwell connection somewhere but darn if I can find it now. Thanks JOsette Maxwell Boone NC
