Is anyone researching this name in Greene Co.? I'm trying to figure out where in Greene Co. a Fritz Metzenger(spelling varied) was living in 1840-1847. I have him living on a Mr. Bates farm, and i'm trying to figure out what Bates he was living with. This would of been the father of my 3X,Gr Grandmother Bathsheba Bates.
