Dave- Yes, it is Fayette County, Ohio. This particular William Miller was 36 according to the 1880 census and Lucy was 35, so that would put them born in the 1840's. This has been a difficult line for me to track. I have had very limited success in finding information. One of the problems I have found is the court house burning down in Cincinnati. This is where Charles and Elizabeth were married and there is no marriage record, according to the court house. I have been unable to get a handle on Charles' parents names. There is a Family Bible, but it only has Charles and Elizabeth with their children listed and the record of their marriage. I believe one relation must have been in the Civil War as there was an unidentified picture of a gentleman wearing what appears to be a Union uniform, tucked into the back pages of the book. I think perhaps Charles' father, but who knows? Anyway, Thank you for your input. Kelly
