Concerning cemetery on grounds of Wright Patterson. I know that where the "old" commisary was located (& it also used to be the Air Force Museum over 30 years ago) near that entrance into the base was a cemetery - not real big. I don't think it is part of the base (in other words I don't think you have to go through the checkpoint to get to it). My mother's baby sister used to be buried there (she died in 1927). I think it was within a year after her death (I could be wrong!) a poor family lost children in a fire or some tragedy & couldn't afford any plots so my grandparents gave up my aunt's plot & had her exhumed & moved to another cemetery where they are all buried now. My grandfather used to be a volunteer fire chief of Osborn (before it merged with Fairfield).
