Kelly Miller mailed the list about her Charles and Lawrence Miller from the subject location. My Miller ancestors lived in this precise area. George C. Miller (1796- PA to 1882-Jamestown) However, I do not recognize her names. George's mother came as a widow to Greene Co. with seven little children. George C. Miller was one of them. Unfortunately, I do not know the names of all of his siblings. She settled in the Cedarville area first with the Stephens and Bromagems. I used to think there were no other Miller relatives living in Greene Co. I now am questioning that assumption. The Millers living east of the Little Miami River are potential relatives. Most came from Scotland as I now suspect my line did. Does anyone out there have anything to add?? Greetings List :o) I am researching my MILLER line, from an area called Silver Creek in Jamestown or by Jamestown in Greene County. Specifically, I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, Lawrence Miller, who was a blacksmith. He was born, 28 Sept. 1879 and died, 06 Feb. 1943. His father was Charles Miller, a carpenter by trade and his mother was Elizabeth Malsbary. If anyone has any recollections of his blacksmith shop, where it was located or how I might go about finding out more about him, I would love to hear from you. Thank you.
