Just what the present owner of James Downey's farm told me about the private grave up behind Orchard Lane on private land that might have Downeys in it. He indicated it could be reached by foot when I joked about my cane and walking. So I assumed there was something still there. But as I said there are signs everywhere in that area saying the land is owned by Aggregates destined for gravelpits! Only the signs stop when entering Beavercreek Twp. and since both Downey and Quinn land is supposed to be within the Twp I hope it is safe. I know one of the commissioners for the Twp, and if I get time today I will call about the gravel business. They have enough land to last 100 years which is probably what they think they need. Linda
