Hello, Hope i can get a look up for a marriage for a Louisa Smith to whomever ( maybe a Boring) between 1855 and 1865 in Clinton Co Ohio. or any of other Counties. Need this very much. This Smith, Louisa was suposed to have gone to Clinton Co Oh. to live with an Uncle ?? on name, abt 1854 from Whitley Co Ind. May have married there. She was on 1850 census with John David Smith family wife Jane Slagle in Whitley Co Ind and was 11 yrs old. Also any Rooks there. Looking for a marriage for a Harrison Rooks who was enlisted in Union Army in 1861 in Clinton Co Oh. Need any imfo on him at all. Louisa Rooks marriage and descending family incl one dau., Ida H. Boring b 10 June 1874 Clinton Co Oh. I have extracted birth record, from Clinton Co Oh. birth/ christening records, parents Louisa Rooks & Joel Borinng. Also family on 1880 Greene Twp. Clinton Co Oh census. Also I have a mar cert. from Clinton Co Oh for Louisa Rooks to Joseph Boring 22 Feb 1860. also in Clinton Co. Oh. Harrison and Louisa Rooks were granchildren of William and Millie Mildred Murrell SMITHSON of Greene TWP Clinton Co Ohio until death of Wm in 1869. Their mother was dau of Wm and Millie, Mahala b abt 1814 in Clinton Co Oh and mar to Wiliam Rooks 18 Sep 1837 in Randolph Co Ind and moved to Grundy Co Mo abt 1839/40. where Mahala died abt 1855/6. Will appreciate any help on these problem area's. Have a bad delima . Some one it seems to have the two Louisa's mixed up or something.
