    3. Hi Terry, I don't know, but I would be glad to work together with you. As I had in my previous message, I keep finding the Carders, Steens, & Dobbins families in Greene Co. intertwining with each other. Another interesting thing I found is that the military unit my gggrandfather, John M. Carder was in also have Moses Steen & one of the Dobbins on the same unit roster (71st OVI) & they all enlisted about the same time. If I remember right, Moses Steene enlisted on the same day as John Carder. What was Sarah's husband's name? 3. Good evening Deborah, I would be glad to help you as much as possible but I know next to nothing on the Steens. My GrGrGrandfather Was William Good as I mentioned before; Abigail as she was called at that period of time was his wife & they had several children. They left Xenia & moved to Allen County Ohio & from there to Paulding, County Ohio.. I have always been told she was originally from Indiana ( God knows where ). Several Census's indicated she was also. William Good dumped her for another woman in the early 1860's & moved to Illinois where he produced another family of several children which I am a bi- product of. The other woman was his & Sarah's Daughter-In-Law & she is my GrGrGrandmother. None of the other Good's apparently was able to find out this or prove it, which I can. From what I have been able to find William & Abigail remained married clear up to each of their deaths.. Williams Civil War pension records tells this quite heavily... Will wait for your reply!
