Hi Pat - Have you seen the bio about John Vandervort b. June 2, 1813, son of Jonah and Elizabeth Vandervort in History of Clinton County, Ohio, page 950? Also, on page 758 there is a Samuel Reed who came from Bourbon, KY in 1803 and settled on the Lindsay Survey. He brought three children including a daughter, Elizabeth. Then on page 1102 there is a note that Samuel Reed was born in VA in 1784. I hope this may be helpful George T
