    2. Don B. Dale
    3. My third great grandfather was a Doctor in Greene County (Dr. Edward Tyndal Dale). In reality he attended Antioch college taught awhile in Yellowsprings, went to Arkansas as Supt of Education before 1866 and in practicality graduated from medical school in NY and moved to Arkansas - yet his third son, like the first two, was born in Greene county. The first born in 1868 died and was buried in Greene county, the second my 2ggf, was born 9-5-1869 and later also practiced as a doctor in Yellowsprings until 1901 and was the youngest Grand Master of the Blue Lodge there in history (Dr. Joseph Edward Dale I). The third son, William E. Dale was born at home (Joseph McIntosh's home-ET's wife's uncle) 8-27-1880 and was delivered by his father. I've never found any records of these births. Dr. JE Dale I delivered both his son, my grandfather Edward Ballard Dale 8-25-1894 at home in Greene County as well as my father, his grandson, 21 years later. Until my father there wasn't really a requirement to make a record other than maybe an announcement in the paper.
