    2. THIS OBIT WAS FOUND IN BELLBROOK MOON NEWSPAPER ARTICLES IN: SCRAPBOOK - BELLBROOK MOON - VOL. 3 JUNE 18, 1902 SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP JEREMIAH C. DAVIS Jeremiah C. DAVIS, was born in Preble County, Ohio February 22, 1830, and departed this life in Warren County, Ohio June 9, 1902, aged 72 yrs. 3 mo. and 18 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary A. WILSON July 30, 1864. The fruits of this union were 9 children, 6 boys and 3 girls, 5 of whome with their loving mother preceded him to the better world. The surviving children are: Joseph, of Springfield, George, of Dayton, Charles, of Ft. Thomas, Ky., and Mrs. C.L. MYERS of Mount Holly The deceased is also survived by 11 grandchildren; the wife and mother preceded him some 12 years to the other world. Mr. DAVIS was an upright citizen, a kind neighbor, and a good father. He was a believer in God and His word, and often read the Bible in which he was well informed. He died very sudden of heart failure, without a moments warning. He ceased at once to work and live. We bury him in the hope of blessed resurrection.
