Hi Greene County I have finally figured out where my gt-gt-grandfather with the frustrating name of JOHN REED (b. 1855, lived in Greene Co). came from. His parents were David Reed and Susan Orndorff of Hardy Co VA (later WV). David and Susan and parts of their family disappear from Hardy Co records before 1860. Apparently at least one of David's siblings, Thomas, and his sister Susan Reed Link, also moved to Ohio. I am accumulating additional information about them and would love to meet up with anyone who can connect to these Greene Co Reeds.
