Do any of the WILSON families being discussed have roots in PA? Specifically, in the Bedford-Fulton Co "Cove" areas? AGNES "Nancy" WILSON was born 1770 near Mercersberg PA. She married the much older ROBERT KENDALL and they as well as KENDALL cousins came to Greene Co. where they lived and died. Many of them lived in Kentucky for a time. I have been unable to establish any relationship between Nancy and the WILSON families of Green Co, but I have not found a lot to go on. I know nothing of her parents, and there were remarkably few Wilson's in that area in a time when "Wilson" in PA was about as popular as "Smith". My great grandmother's brother was GEORGE WILSON KENDALL - Whether that was to honor a specific person, or merely preserving one name from each side of the family, I also do not know. If any of you have found information on PA WILSONs in your research who might be kin to Nancy, I would appreciate any leads.
