    1. Re: [OHGREENE-L] James Crowell undertaker Bellbrook

    3. Hello Steve: Usually, any undertaker in the city or county will know who in the area is in that business. Also, they will likely know who has the records if an undertaker has gone out of business. Usually, the records are passed on to another undertaker in the general area rather than to a family member or heir. To locate someone locally, use a search engine and look up "Funeral Director" in the local area. Hope this helps. 3. Rich do you have a list of the burials in Massies Creek Cemetery (the one near Cedarville)? My 4G-grandparents are buried there - and I'd like to know if there is more specific information available regarding their place and/or date of birth. My 4G grandparents are Walter CURRIE (1776-22 JUL 1808) and Elizabeth PINKERTON (d 14 May 1829). They have a daughter (not my ancestor) buried there with her husband -- Isabella CURRIE (13 Jul 1803-1 OCT 1890) mar to John COLLINS (12 FEB 1792-5 JUN 1861). Walter also had a brother James CURRIE (3 Nov 1773-1 NOV 1843) buried at Massies Creek with his wife Hannah ARCHIBALD (1 Jul 1770-4 APR 1860). I'd appreciate knowing any more info about these people from their gravestone inscriptions, as well as about any other CURRIE or PINKERTON family members buried there. Thanks.........Phil Rich G wrote: > Jim, > > There are two cemeteries referred to as Massies Creek, as the tributary > flowed near both of them. One is Massie's Creek Cemetery in Cedarville > Twp. 3. Jim, There are two cemeteries referred to as Massies Creek, as the tributary flowed near both of them. One is Massie's Creek Cemetery in Cedarville Twp. In this cemetery is Wm. Teech, died March 19, 1874, age 20 years, and 2 months. The Old Massies Creek Cemetery is also called the Stevenson Cemetery and is located on Jones Road in Xenia Township. The only Teach listed is Jacob Teech, b July 11, 1817, died June 1, 1892. 1. [OHGREENE-L] FRY-BERRY Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" and old photograph of Leona FRY BERRY which was taken at the Downing Studio in Xenia, Ohio. The photo was likely taken in the 1880's when the subject was just a toddler. On the back of the photo in addition to her name someone has written "My Doll, 2 years old" and "Don BERRY". I'm assuming that Don BERRY was either her husband or her son. I'm hoping someone can identify this family so that the photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
