I first find Abial Pierson listed on the 1830 census in Kirtland Township. His documented children are: Julius Egbert Pierson, bap. 1 May 1814 David Holbrook Pierson, bap. 12 May 1816 Melissa Holbrook Pierson, bap 23 Aug. 1818 Nathan Josiah Pierson, bap 5 Sept. 1826 All of these children were born and baptised in Derby, Conn. before moving to Ohio. My 2'nd great grandfather was John Fairchild Pierson, from the death and census records I have, he was either born in 1810 or 1813. I have found no record of his birth to Abiel and Irene Pierson, however I have some of his letters referring to his sister Melissa who married Alfred Holbrook and moved to Lebenon, Ohio. There is also mention of his brother Josiah who lived in Lauderdale County, Tenn. as did John Fairchild Pierson from about 1848 until 1878. If anyone know anything of this family I would love to hear from you. Pat Boothe --------------F3B00DF07ECF49BDD4425E7E--
