Greenbush, Rensselaer Co. NY. He died on 13 Mar 1882 in Chardon, Geauga Co. OH. Geauga Republican 17 May 1882 pg. 5 He was buried in North Chardon Protestant Cemetery Sec 1 Lot 21. Timothy B. Robinson came to Chardon Ohio from the State of New York in 1812 in the company of John Fox, who stopped in Hambden. They traveled on foot, and carried knapsacks on their backs. Mr. Robinson prospected for a while and then returned to New York. He came back in 1817 and hired out to Norman Canfield for a year. He did great service in chopping down the woods, hewing timber, and tilling the soil, where now are Chardon's thickest residences. (From the History of Geauga Co. OH) He was married to Betsey BUSHNELL (daughter of Truman BUSHNELL and Hepsibah BOND) on 21 Dec 1817 in Geauga Co. OH. Betsey BUSHNELL was born on 9 Oct 1799 in Litchfield, Herkiner Co. CT. OH.1 He was buried in Chardon Village/Municipal Cemetery. Four Children listed in Bushnell Genealogy. He was married to Harriet H. HARRIS on 14 May 1848. Harriet H. HARRIS was born on 21 May 1821.1 She died on 12 Mar 1904 in Chardon, Geauga Co. OH.1 She was buried in Chardon Village/Municipal Cemetery. Delos W. Robinson ROBINSON and Harriet H. She was buried in Chardon Village/Municipal Cemetery. Unmarried. +18 iv. Gaylord Timothy ROBINSON. 10. Milton Timothy ROBINSON was born on 27 Jul 1833 in Probably Chardon, OH. He died on 17 Sep 1893. He was married to Elizabeth A. MCCALMONT on 14 Sep 1868. Two children, this marriage. Elizabeth A. MCCALMONT was born on 16 Aug 1842. She died on 4 Jul 1878. Milton Timothy ROBINSON and Elizabeth A. MCCALMONT had the following children: 19 i. Elva May ROBINSON was born on 7 Aug 1869. Unmarried in 1940. 20 ii. Alfred Milton ROBINSON was born on 11 Sep 1872. He died. Unmarried in 1940. He was married to Eliza(beth) SMITH on 12 May 1879. THIRD GENERATION 11. Abram Harrison STAFFORD2 was born on 31 Mar 1841 in Chardon, Geauga Co. OH. He signed a will on 13 Jan 1926. Will Record L, pages 521-525. He died on 6 Jul 1928 in Chardon, Geauga Co. OH. He was buried in Chardon, Geauga Co. OH. Abram enlisted 9 Aug 1862 in Company E of the 105 OVI but transferred to the 103 OVI and served under Col. Jack Casement. Campaigned in Covington KY, Knoxville TN (The Seige), Alanta GA, Nashville TN, Franklin TN. The left wing of his regiment was taken for a guard at headquarters, and he was sent to Washington DC with General Schofield. He was then sent to Fort Fisher, NC and later he was with his division when they captured Fort Anderson. He was at Wilmington NC and at New Berne and Raleigh. Honorably discharged 12 June 1865 he was never confined to the hospital excepting a single day. He returned to farming 260 acres. As his means increased, he invested in stock in the Citizens Bank of Chardon and later became a Director on its Board. Politically, he supported the Republican Party. He served as Justice of the Peace for several terms and belonged to the Masonic Order and was a worthy member of the Grand Army of the Republic. Abram's masoleum mistakenly has the name Abram Halbert Stafford on it. He was married to Mary Elizabeth CHURCHILL (daughter of Orville Sylvester CHURCHILL and Sarah VAN AUKEN) on 27 Aug 1865 in Geauga Co. OH.3 Mary Elizabeth CHURCHILL was born on 20 Feb 1843 in Streetboro, Portage Co, OH. She died on 24 Jan 1926 in Painesville, OH. She was buried in Chardon Village/Municipal Cemetery.
