He m., 24 Sep 1874 in Troy, Anna King BISSELL, dau. of Pizzaro & Anna Eliza (KING), b. 30 Aug 1854 in Dorset, Ashtabula county. (Family stories say that Anna Eliza KING's mother's name was COLLINS, but there is a clear possibility that Anna Eliza's maiden name is actually Anna Eliza COLLINS, with the possibility that her mother's maiden name was KING.) Martin Dexter & Anna K. ABBEY had a total of 9 children, and moved around from Auburn to Hiram Rapids to York, NE, to Towanda, PA, to Broome county, NY.
