Hi Nancy, Saw your posting regarding the JACOBS family. My great, great grandmother's sister married SABATHAEL (SVR) JACOBS in 1858 in Ashtabula County and my gr gr gr grandmother's brother, CALVIN BURR, was married to PHYENA MELVINA JACOBS in about 1846 (I've not yet located a record) probably in Ashtabula County. In the 1860 census there was an AARON JACOBS, age 65, born VT, and his wife, LUCY, age 59, born NH, living next door to Calvin & Phyena. According to cemetery records I found an AARON JACOBS, born 1796, died in 1863 at the age of 67, in Ashtabula County. In the 1840 census I saw the AARON JACOBS family listed in Geauga County, Chester Township and have wondered if there is some kind of relationship. I can fit Sabathael and Phyena into the children listed in that census, but have not proof they belong there. In addition, the birthdate and place I have for the Ashtabula County Aaron and what you show for the Geauga County Aaron are not the same AND the spouses names are different. Can you shed any light on my JACOBS? I have additional information on the Jacobs individuals I've named should anyone want same. Thanks
