So happy this list exists!!! Hezekiah NICHOLS (Humphrey, Humphrey, John, Thomas) of Chester Twp. from abt. 1830 til he died in 1853, was married twice. His first wife and mother of his eleven (or more) children appears to have been Lois KELLEY, as listed in Vershire, Orange Co., VT records, yet Lavina CHILDS is referred to as mother of at least five of these children on their death records. Those five are: Orville and Granville, who stayed in Geauga Co. and Carlos, Susan, and Philura who moved on to Allegan Co., MI. Also found in Geauga County is daughter Lois Nichols who married Silas T. GILMORE in 1838. Orville married Lavira PRATT and had (at least) a daughter, Emma. Which woman is the mother of which children? Would like to find out more about Lois KELLEY and Lavina CHILDS and Hezekiah's descendants.
