    3. Hi Gerald, I'm not Joyce but am wondering. Do you use the Search for Ancestors Box or do you use the Search or Browse For Your Ancestors in a Specific Collection? This is located beneath the first box. You then select the area you are interested in. They have added so much more information, the search engines must work a lot harder to sift through all of it so if you narrow your search to a specific area, it might work better. I am wondering if there is a place where you can request corrections? I ran into a death certificate for one of my ancestors that the transcribe had a problem with the abbreviation for Ohio. They used IA instead of OH. It was not a one time error but others in the same general area. I let it go but probably should have tried to have it corrected. Joyce, By useless, I mean I have not yet been able to get a hit on anyone yet. That includes people I have successfully found previously. I have tried about ten times over the last four weeks. I use to be able to get hits easliy and regularly. My web page shows: FAMILYSEARCH RECORD SEARCH - PILOT SITE First or middle name(s) Last or family name Life Event Year Range Place Search As is a different format than what they were previously using. 3. Remember that anything in the labs.familysearch.org is a work in progress. They have a disclaimer that at times records may not be available and the site will change. Up in the top right is a feedback button. Please submit your ideas there. There is also a discussion board/wiki - https://wiki familysearch.org/en/Main_Page If someone wanted to they can add info on https://wiki.familysearch.org/en/Gallia_County%2C_Ohio a Gallia county page - nothing there yet but we could add links to the various Gallia websites. It takes a log in id which is free of course. 3. I just thought I'd report the results of today's search - 23 hits, and my search criteria was absolutely no different than the three or four separate times I tried yesterday, but I might have located a clue. When I spotted the Scott Wilson whose record I wanted to look at, I accidentally hit the name of the wrong guy. When I tried to go back and get the right one, I got a screen offering to refine my search. So, I typed in the name again and got a screen saying my search returned no results, so all 23 Scott Wilsons that had been there just a moment before were gone! I now have the list again, but I had to back all the way out and go to the log in page and start from the beginning again. So, perhaps it's the Refine Search feature that's the buggiest. Now I don't happen to remember where I was when I began to notice the problem, but it was real, so I'm not crazy after all! (Well, not totally certifiable anyway.) 1. [OHGALLIA] correction for Family Search site
    2. Henny Evans
    3. I saw one which obviously was just misread and wrote them about it. They basically said to hold on to corrections...until when? I don't know. Henny
