    2. I have a Frederick Hanger born about 1791 in Virginia and is not listed in the 1870 Census.? His wife Susan born May 16, 1789 Virginia and died April 21, 1858 is buried at Mount Olive Cemetery.? His son David, born August 4, 1823 and died September 6, 1897 was married to Elizabeth Glassburn on November 13, 1847 in Gallia County.? Elizabeth was born September 28, 1822 Morgan Township and died November 10, 1868.? All are buried in Mount Olive Cemetery.? I am hunting for Frederick born about 1799 in VA, still alive in 1860 and a possible son David, born about 1824 in Ohio with wife Elizabeth. Lived in Springfield Township. Does anyone have information on them? I see no connection YET with the Johann Henger who lived and died in WV before the Frederick Hanger who was here. 3. Debbie, that's exactly the one I"m interested in! Thanks. Now, what I need is to be able to prove that David is Frederick's son. I know Frederick lives with David in 1860 and I know he sells him land. But it's not for a $1.00 and love and affection but hundreds of dollars so no clue that he's father and son. There's no probate for Frederick to name David and as I don't know his death date, no obit. David's obit does not name his parents. So, I'd love to know your proof...that would be perfect. 1. Re: [OHGALLIA] Hangers
    2. Henny, ???? The fact that Frederick is buried very near David should have some meaning/ Maybe Frederick "sold" the land to David so David wouldn't have to pay inheritance taxes on it/ I believe James McGhee "sold" land to his grandsons George W. Shack and Asher Hamilton/? A lot of people were land rich and cash poor-then and now/? I agree that is not much proof there/ Debbie -----Original Message----- From: Henny Evans <hcevans1775@sbcglobal.net> To: ohgallia@rootsweb.com Sent: Sat, 31 May 2008 12:26 pm Subject: Re: [OHGALLIA] Hangers Debbie, that's exactly the one I"m interested in!
