I agree with Karen. According to my files Henry Rife (1790-1833) was the third son of Joseph Rife Sr. and Margaret Carpenter. The Joseph who married Elizabeth howard was born in 1787 so I don't think he had a son in 1790. This Joseph and Henry were brothers not father and son. Ethel Flannery
