Do you have any ideas on the father of your Jackson, maybe I could find him that way. I haven't read the whole book since my Hughes line ended when Rachel md. Wm. Cottrell. I am not 100% positive that the index is a complete index. It's about 20 pages and that isn't too large for the size of this book. Connie

Debbie, Ancestry.com listed Jackson Hughes, son of Jonathan Hughes and born 1801 died 1884 in Jay County, Indiana. There is a Levi Hughes listed in the Lovisa Hughes household in Springfield Township in 1850. Lovisa was also known as Lavinah Ash. I'm sure they knew the Glassburns. I'm pulling Jackson, husband of Matilda out of that family until I can find his true parents. I'm sure both Jacksons are related but how?
