I beleve that the gravestone is in error and should read: "Millery d. May 7, 1883 70 years" in light of the fact that she was identified in the 1880 Census as being 67. If she died in 1883, at the age of 70, this would also confirm her birth date as being in 1813 - Gerald Deckard d. Since Matilda was on the 1880 Census enumeration I believe there was a typo on the Gilboa Cemetery transcription. Sometimes 5's do look like 8's. When I was there at Gilboa a few years ago with Leah, many tombstones were piled up in one big heap. - Debbie Hodge d.
