Debbie, I found a military cemetery listing for Levi Hughes on Ancestry.com He died Jul 3, 1901 and is buried at Pinckneyville Cemetery, Pinckleyville, Illinois. One of the post said Levi Hughes was 74 when he passed away. If this is the Levi we are talking about ... it would make him born abt. 1827 (instead of Feb 1836 in another post) ... Levi Hughes' father, Jackson Hughes' dates are b 22 Jul 1814 & died 31 Aug 1888. If age 74 death age for Levi Hughes is correct... his father, Jackson would have be age 14 when Levi was born... ?? If Levi's dates are Feb 1836 - 3 Jul 1901 is correct... he would have been abt. 65 yrs. old at his death.
