Jasper Oiler's parents were Jacob Oiler & Lucinda Jane Polly. They lived in Gallia County until Jacob died the Lucinda moved to Franklin County Ohio. Jasper's siblings were Thomas Byron, Mary E., Samuel Theodore, Charles Newton Webster, and Orletha J. Jasper was first married to Mary Skinner and they had 3 sons: John Joseph, James and Clarence Owen. Then after Mary's death around 1894 Jasper married Katheryn Ann Stone. They had 10 Children of which my grandmother was number 6. I hope this will help in the search for Jasper Oiler's Obituary most likely in the local paper in or around Vinton Twp., Gallia County.
