William Alva COTTRILL was the name, died 1910, son of Lorenzo & Daisy (Pedan) Cottrill. (Death Cert. is available on LDS site) I thought maybe the cemetery there at Alice mite have been named that at one time, or the Gheer one up the road. I have never heard of Williams in Vinton County but if a family farm cemetery, I probably wouldn't. I just checked galliagenealogy.org for various Cotterill/Cottrell/Cottrill and he is not buried in Gallia Co. with a stone and there is no Williams Cemetery in Morgan or Huntington townships.
