Checked the 1917 draft card for Lorenzo Dow Cottrill b 3 May 1881 and it lists residence as Rte. I Alice, Gallia, Ohio although he registered with the Vinton County draft board. Lists wife as Sophia Lena Cottrill and her residence is Alice, Gallia County as well. 1910 census shows Lorenzo ( a widower) and family as follows: Wilson age 8, Wm. F age 6, Lorenzo D. age 4, Robert age 2, Homer no age, and Sarah, his mother. 1920 census shows them living in Wellston Twp., Jackson County, Ohio. I think it is an odd coincidence that Williams Cemetery is listed for William and that it is an error. Perhaps a search of all cemeteries in Vinton County might yield some info.
