Nancy, the Gallia County Genealogical Society, OGS Chapter which is located at 57 Court Street publishes the Gallia County Crossroads and Cornerstones. It comes out 4 times a year and you should be getting another one very soon. It is filled strictly with 24 pages of genealogical items each quarter, and we welcome articles from members. Over the past few years we've included such items as an entire 1860 tax list for Gallia County, excerpts with sketches of business men in the community, an article on V.P. Cheney's connections with Gallia County, Bible records, research articles, lots of Civil War news, boating news, queries, our lineage society reports, books for sale, a series on local businesses and the men who ran them.
