I just read the post by Mariorie L. Wood about the fueding and agree with her. Both groups are very helpful to me . I thank everyone for all the help ,they have pointed me in the needed direction . Especily Henny she is a great lady , having shown a beginer from Missouri how the project gets done. The main person of interest is Robert Gordon born in Rockbridge Co. ,Va.on May 17 1825. He passed away May 16 1916 somewhere in Cheshire Township, Gallia , Ohio, andis burried with his wife Sarah Margaret Cale in Popular Ridge. Someday I`ll make a trip from Kansas City to see the area first hand. Are there any records in any of the groups ?or news clippings ? Tim
Hi Tim, what do you mean by any records????? Just kidding, but we do have thousands of records. What are you looking for? Have you seen Shari Creech's book on Cheshire? We have them for sell for her at our office. We also have an extensive obituary collection, both online and in our office. We add to that weekly.
