I really love that site for getting death records, but I've had a couple of occasions when I suspected I was getting bad results, and today I'm convinced. Last week, I pulled off a record for a Scott Wilson. Today I tried to find the list of Scott Wilsons again, and the site reported "no search results." Is it just discriminating against me of have others had this happen, too? If it's discriminating against me, I might be sorry I asked. :(
Yes I have had problems at times. Sometime you have to put in just the last name or leave off a state and that works. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Beth Haney" <bhaney@speakeasy.net> Sent: Sunday, June 15, 2008 9:35 PM To: <ohgallia@rootsweb.com> Subject: [OHGALLIA] Has anyone noticed the FamilySearch.org site isunpredictable? > I really love that site for getting death records, but I've had a couple > of occasions when I suspected I was getting bad results, and today I'm > convinced. Back to the original question: I just did a death record search for Scott Wilson and found 561 in the entire collection' 68 in Ohio; and 4 in Gallia County. I have had a tremendous amount of success in using this site.
