I am also researching this family but I have less information than you on Nancy Cotrell. I have a couple of other Lasley's in my line (John b. abt 1766 in VA & dau. Ruth b. 1792 m. Hiram Wilson PERRY/PEERY on 25 Dec 1811). I have Nancy listed as the d/o Andrew and Mary Davis Cotrill so this may not even be the correct Nancy although the time frame is about right and she had a brother, Henry who I have found to have died in Meigs Co., OH. I also have some GILBERT's who came out of Baltimore and Harford Co., MD. Nancy "Polly" Cottrill b. 1800/01 Harrison Co. WV daughter of Andrew and Mary Davis and Sister of Henry married 29 APR 1819 JAMES GREATHOUSE. I believe that they came to Athens Co. I have not researched that part of the family yet. Henry was my great great grandfather.
