I am planning a trip up to Gallipolis and the surrounding area next month. My mom, step-dad, and Sister will be coming with me. We have been planning this for several months, ever since I found out my GGG - Grandmother Mary A. Lewis is buried there in Fairview (Long) Cemetery on Fairview Road. Directions only give the Road and "Section 25"? Could anyone give me a better idea on how to find the Cemetery, maybe some things to watch for? We are also going to be spending some time at the library "researching" while we are there. Hoping to gather some additional information on the family. Mary's Maiden name is Tanner and she married Stephen Lewis. He isn't buried with her (but was there with her in Census records before her death) as he returned to the place of his birth and is buried in Wattsburg, Erie County, PA - I'll be in Albion visiting my Grandmother (with my dad, another genealogist) in August and we discussing a side-trip to Wattsburg while we are there for the same reason. *G* Excited to be getting to do some "Hands On" and to see my Grandmother's grave for the first time.
