Thanks, that's the 1880 census. There is also a Lemuel V. on the 1870 census with the same parents and siblings. I'm trying to prove that they are the same as my documented relative that I have as Von and Vaughn who appeared mysteriously on the 1880 census. I appreciate anything you've got though. Clark. He is on 1880 Gallia census as "Von" but on his children's birth certificates as "Vaughn" and I found him in another's genealogy as Leon V. I have that he was born August, 1865 in Ohio (census) and died 02 Oct 1905. Married Mary Walters 22 Jan 1885 in Gallia County. Both children, Lester and Luella, were born in Gallia County. I cannot find anything on him prior to the 1880 census, thus I am unable to find his parents. The county has looked up specific records and I'm afraid that this person just went by several different names and spellings. It might just have to come down to what males were born in August, 1865 that might be him. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
