The following obituary was printed in the "Gallipolis Daily Tribune" on Thursday, March 03, 1932: "JOHN SWISHER DIES FUNERAL SATURDAY John Swisher, 79, passed away late Wednesday evening at his home near Little Kyger. He will be buried in Gravel Hill Cemetery following funeral services at Little Kyger Christian church Saturday, 1 p.m. By Rev. Scott Mossman. Arrangements are in charge of J. L. Coleman, of Bidwell. Mr. Swisher is survived by four sons and two daughters: Arthur of New York, Bud of Columbus, Ermin and Duffy, at home, Mrs. Peters, Cheshire and Mrs. Hulda Jenkins of Kyger." [Teresa Herrmann]
