Reminder to everyone that the Grand Opening of the Gallia County Genealogical Society, OGS Chapter office is tomorrow...from 10 to 4. We will have a ribbon cutting at 11. The public is invited to attend. OGS President Paul Morehouse will attend in the afternoon so if you'd like to meet with him, come in then. We will have displays of photos and paintings of Ohio barns and our recent gift from Andrew Truslow of early French documents and several Civil War newspapers. There are several other lovely photographs including one of Rood's Market restored by Larry Rood and one of the building which we now occupy. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.
