    3. Hello Everyone, I am new to this mailing list and was wondering if somebody can help me. I am looking for information that can place William or Lorenzo Goolsbey in Gallia. I recieved a copy of William 'Gooldsby's' marriage record dated 25 Nov 1852 in Gallia to Francis (Fanny) E. Smith (b. 21 Apr 1834 in VA). William's date of birth is listed as 18 Nov 1827 in Gallia as well. I have census data placing them in in Summit, Steele, MN in 1860. I am unable to find any information about their life in OH. According to the records, William should have lived there from 1827 until early 1854 or late 1853. In 1854, William and Fanny had their first child, Lavine (Lavinia) who was born in Iowa. The following year John was born in MN. I am at a loss as I can not find any information about William or Francis, their parents or siblings (with the possible exception of Lorenzo Goolsby). The same holds true for Francis (Fanny) Smith. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Wendy To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe. -Anatole France ____________________________________________________________________________________ It's here! 3. This is not my family, but maybe this will help you. Also be sure and check Lawrence, Jackson and Meigs Co's in Ohio and Mason Co. VA.
