I know that this is just a hair away from the family histories.. but yesterday the Old Cedar Street Market had one side collapse after a huge rainstorm. They believe that the rain caused the brick to finally give way. Back a few months ago, we were discussing things/buildings around Gallipolis/Gallia Co. Some where I think that I read that this building was the home of the Morning Dawn Lodge. Does anyone else know the histoy ... the building sits on the corner of Third and Cedar. Once owned by the Johnson Family , they operated a grocery store there from the 40's to the 60's .... Charlie or Larry, do you know the history of this building.
