Every so often someone will announce that something from Gallia county or closer has come up on Ebay. I think many of us are sad to see these wonderful items "lost" from families. I can't count the times I've gone into an antique store and have seen some beautiful portraits in glorious frames. No names, nothing to say where it came from. You can't help (when you do what we do here) ask "who are you and where is your family?"
