Louisa, it is our policy to open on weekends and evenings whenever necessary to help out of town visitors. That's what we are here for. We will give you local phone numbers to contact so even if you have to cancel on your visit that's okay. But we will be on call for you. Louisa, The Gallia County Historical/Genealogical Society is open Monday - Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, but we have for quite a few years and will continue to open at special times for out of town researchers. If you find you have the time to stop by just give the society a call at 740-446-7200 and we will have someone there to assist you.
