Does anyone know a really good source for Confederate soldiers? This one served from Giles Co., VA. Also, has the cost for pension records been raised yet? Thanks, Henny Evans

Linda, that's a good one, but it doesn't have my soldier. Thanks, Henny
I would be interested in a source that gives enough information to identify an ancestor with a common name. He lived in Ohio, listed in 1860 Census but nothing after that. Although a Virginian by birth, he lived in Jackson County when the war started so if drafted, it was probably in the Union Army. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
