Sharon, I was working on Death Certificates that had been donated to the genealogical society and found a slew of Gates.... while looking I came upon Margaret Wigner Gates. Her husband signed the the form as the informant.... He middle name is MERRILL Gates, it is not your James Madison... While we are talking about DC, BC and Marriage license, if you have some of these certificates and would like to donate them.... They really do help us with research, I was able to help Sharon clarify this Gate's marriage. So, please send us copies of your birth certificates, please none for living decendants, Death certificates and Marriage license... We are finding more and more that these are extremly helpful to our researchers.
