Linda, If you have a PC that is running Windows XP you can use a very good program from Microsoft. It is Microsoft Plus Digital Media Edition. It has a very good analog recorder program in it that will convert analog music files to digital and will also then remove the pops and crackles and kisses from albums. I have used it to record on CD several of my old albums with great success. Also, I seen either your middle or maiden name listed as Tope. The Tope that was an undertaker in Gallipolis was the one who buried my G grandfather, William Henry Brannen in 1928. I got some info from Mary Lee at the Historical Society on him.
