I have Anna marriage on Jan 18, 1840. The 1850 census list all the Gilmores Elizabeth 10, Sarah 9, Benton 8, Lucinda 7.12 and the Clarks Samuel 18, James 16, Ellen Elnor 13, Ailvester 10, Thomas 8 and Perry 5 of Thomas Gilmore and Ann Lewis Clark. Maybe the next step to check 1860-70 census for Clay Twp. I hope that maybe some of John "The Baptist" Lewis's children had a death certificate that listed their parents ? Married John Anthony Wise Oct 17, 1870 & d. April 1, 1910. She is buried in Clay Chapel Cemetery in Clay Township. There is also an unnamed Gilmore child who was buried there in 1824 and was the d/o I. B. & E. J. The stone says b. and d. Feb. 28, 1824, but the date is underlined for some reason. There is also a Kate Gilmore buried there in 1823 and two other Gilmore families buried later. Neil E.
