My great-grandmother was Mary Alice Clendenin. Some say they all sprang from one Glendenning who started it all. They have a big Clendenin/Clendenen DNA test out there. Unfortunately, the women aren't doing these DNA tests because they are for surnames and going through the male line. They can find out things through the maternal line with the women, though, which is interesting, too, I think. Enough rambling.
