The Gallia County Genealogical Society will have its monthly meeting on April the 14th at 7pm. in the society building at 412 Second Avenue. Please mark your calendars for this event, anyone is welcome whether you are a member or not. This months program will be on Using the OCR program that comes with your scanner. OCR is a way of being able to take a scanned document and converting it into useable, editable manuscript. It is an invaluable tool for scanning material , editing the material and being able to use it with out retyping it out from the original. This should be very helpful and informative. So, please plan to attend. We will also be putting the finishing touches on "GENE FEST 2005" set for the weekend of June the 4th.
