    2. Well I started a note and now I think I have lost it. My sister, Marian, is also working on the Lanthorns and when she sees your mail I am sure she will get back to you as soon as she can. I have heard her mention the names that you have and maybe she can be of help. Mary Jane Lanthorn was married to our great grandfather, Joseph Peniel Baker. They are both buried in the Clay Chapel Cemetery, Clay Township, Gallia County, O. Joseph P. Baker , born Sept 13, 1831 d. Dec. 31, 1899 Mary J. w/o J. P. b. August 11, 1834 d. Jan 24, 1900 We also have information on the Neals and I am working on the Bakers. We both are members of the Gallia County Genealogical Society, Chapter of OGS, Incorporated, and also members of the First Families of Gallia County..Our society is the original chapter of OGS which was started in 1983 by Henny Evans. I descend from Elizabeth (Griffith) Lanthorn Neal's younger sister, Ruth (Griffith) Stewart.
