Jean, I am also working on a Griffith line from Lawrence and Gallia Counties. My Eliza Griffith was married to Elijah Williams and she was born in 1835 in Lawrence County to John and Mary Gwinn Griffith. Eliza Griffith Williams died in Gallia County in 1907. I will see what I have on this line, I have not looked at it in a long time and have not recently pursued it. There is also a Lanthorn that was married to my great-grandfather, it was his second marriage and his children never acknowledged the marriage because this was about her third or fourth husband and she was not thought of very well in the community. I don't even remember her first name just that he did not divorce her but did not live with her about the last 20 years of his life. I may have a little on that line but it is very doubtful. I will contact you privately with any information I might have on these lines.
