Just thought I would let you all in on a little secret of mine. I have just applied for my certification kit to become an APG. I want to thank Yoland Campbell Lifter for her information and encouragement . It will probably take me a little while trying to find classes to take. I did find some out of Brigham Young University, that are on line... so this should be a new adventure. So, when you see APG, it means I have joined the Association of Professional Genealogist and will be working toward my accreditation. Thought I might as well go for it... right.... ain't getting any younger or close to it without doing it. While trying to understand land transactions in the county I've noticed a Norton Campbell & Company seems to have owned large parcels of land in Greenfield Township, including some my ggg-grandfather owned. Does anyone know who or what Norton Campbell & Co was or is? Were they a mining outfit by any chance? Mary
