Dear Tom, I am scanning and sending my sheets on John Lanthorn. I don't think I have seen anything for a David. All the Lanthorn children were listed in Walter Neals Will. Will check that out.and get back to you. We show Elizabeth Griffth was born in Pa. Think I have some more info. on that. We have a cousin Linda who lives in Michigan. I'm sure she will jump in here too. I gave her a lot of information and she has shared more with me on the work I hadn't done. More later. Hi Marian, Thanks for the Lanthorn information. I had that information on John. Several other researchers have additional children for John and Cassandra Lanthorn that showed up after the 1880 census. I'm not sure where they got that information. I have corresponded with one of these guys, and after the initial contact, I have not heard from him. I must have thrown him by asking about his sources... Is cousin Linda the same as Linda Yeakle? I have corresponded with her before. I believe that Elizabeth (Griffith) Lanthorn Neal was born in Pennsylvania too. However, I think that I saw that at least one of the censuses states that she was born in Virginia. Pennsylvania seems a lot more believable since the family was there before. David was the youngest of the Lanthorns (that I know about) born before David Sr. died. He was on the 1850 census with Elizabeth and Walter, but doesn't appear with the family after that. Perhaps he died between 1850 and 1860. Do you happen to have Walter Neal's will or a transcription of it? I wonder if he is mentioned in it. If he's not, then it's a good guess that he died "young," since all of the other children were named. - Jean -----Original Message----- From: Ruth Schoonover [mailto:JANDMBUG@peoplepc.com] Sent: Sunday, April 24, 2005 12:59 PM To: OHGALLIA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [OHGALLIA-L] Lanthorn, John and David Dear Tom, I am scanning and sending my sheets on John Lanthorn.
